I have always been infatuated with the Hidden Hills in California because the houses are huge and hidden and many famous people live there. The Hidden Hills is a private, gated neighborhood in the Santa Monica Mountains right next to Calabasas and you can probably imagine why so many celebrities live there. They need privacy and protection. While many famous people live there, it is not exclusive to celebrities. You just have to have a ton of money in order to afford one of the homes.
Why the Hidden Hills?
I didn’t even know that the Hidden Hills existed until I started watching the Kardashians. I personally love the Kardashians mainly because I love every single one of their houses. They are interesting to watch but mainly I watch the show because I like to see all the different parts of their homes. Obviously, all of their homes are huge and beautiful so the show is very aesthetically pleasing. I talked about Kendall’s house in a previous blog post, but every single one of them has an amazing house. After drooling over their houses for so long I finally decided to figure out where in LA they are located. Come to find out theirs a whole neighborhood hidden in the hills of LA for rich people. All of the homes in this neighborhood are multi-million dollar homes with some of the cheaper houses being around 5 million. Although I won’t be able to afford any of these houses even remotely soon, it is still fun to look at and dream of.
How I browse the Hidden Hills homes
There are only three properties for sale in the Hidden Hills currently, so if you want to see more of the houses other than the properties for sale you’re going to have to manually find houses on Zillow maps. For Hidden Hills specifically, I typed in Hidden Hills in the search bar and then it automatically outlines the boundaries of the neighborhood. From there, I just zoom in and click on houses. Most of them have photos, so you can see almost any of the homes. I have actually spent hours going through the neighborhood and clicking on different houses. It is so entertaining and I could do it for so long. I will show you some of the houses that I found and loved in this neighborhood to give you a little idea of what the homes are like.
24895 Long Valley Rd, Hidden Hills, CA 91302
There are limited photos of this house, but going off of the photos that are included and the given information provided, this is an absolute dream house. This house is marked just above $24 million and is 15,667 square feet with 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. One of the photos included is an overhead view of the property which shows the huge grass area in the yard, a pool, and a full-sized basketball court. This yard has everything you need to stay entertained, especially in LA where it’s warm and sunny all year around and you can use the yard all year around. Based on the few images of the inside of the home, it is modern, minimalistic, and neutral. I love the interior and exterior of this house because it’s so open and spacious, I could probably get lost on this property. This could very well be Kim Kardashians’ house because a lot of the features look a lot like what I’ve seen on the show, but I can’t fully tell. Who else than Kim K would live in a $24 million home?

This house is not on the market, but it has photos of the entire house and it is gorgeous! This house is $10.3 million and 15,973 square feet with 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. I love this house because of its huge windows and the brightness in almost every room. In the main living room, the windows go from the floor to the ceiling and bring in tons of natural light. This house has more of a midcentury modern style to I with lots of neutral colors. The backyard has a pool, a hot tub, a basketball court, a seating area, and a big open lawn. I love this house’s openness and brightness; it gave me lots of inspo for my future home.
5757 Hoback Glen Rd, Hidden Hills, CA 91302
This house stood out to me because of the breathtaking view of LA. It is about $13.9 million and 10,417 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. This is just another example of how insane the homes in the hidden hills are. It has everything you could possibly want in a home. It has a gym, a movie theater, a game room and so many cozy and sleek bedrooms. The backyard has a pool, a tennis court, and so many other features that would make me stay forever. This modern home would make a great place to host evening parties as well because of the amazing view of LA and the sunset.
