My Favs From the Most Expensive State in America

Although Hawaii is the most expensive state to buy a home in, it is still fun to look at the homes and dream. Hawaii is one of my favorite places to travel to because of the beaches, the weather and the warm ocean. Most of the time when my family visits Hawaii, we stay at resorts, but on the few times that we stayed in a house, it has been the best experience. Nature in Hawaii is on a whole other level and exploring it is a must if you visit. I find that when I stay at a resort I tend to stay at the resort for much of the time because everything I need is right there. When staying in a house, you get the full Hawaii experience and explore what’s around. When looking at homes for sale in Hawaii, they are expensive but all of them have amazing surroundings.

62-4422 Amaui Nani Pl, Kamuela, HI 96743

This home is not fully built yet, but thanks to AI it is already listed with photos of what the home will look like. While this home is insanely expensive, it makes total sense why it’s priced so high. It is listed at $22.9 million and is 12,950 square feet with 7 bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. This house is on a 1.05-acre lot and has an amazing view of the ocean and the golf course. Because this house will be newly built, it will be modern with all up-to-date features. From the photos provided by AI, the house is very open with lots of windows and hints of Hawaiian mother nature. It also has everything you could possibly need in a home with a pool, movie theater, fitness room and much more.

81-6575 Hiaaiono Pl, Kealakekua, HI 96750

This house was built in 2019 and looks like the home version of a Hawaiian resort. It is listed at $7.995 million and is 4,774 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. This 1.15-acre lot is part of an exclusive, invite-only community that has a spa, fitness center, golf course, tennis courts and so much more. This house is surrounded by Hawaiian agriculture and has a clear view of the coastline. Not only is this house huge but it is very open and has lots of big windows to make all the beautiful surrounding nature a part of the interior as well. My favorite part of this home is the master bedroom. The room is surrounded by windows so when you wake up you immediately see the pool and the ocean. The shower has windows as well that make it bright and very tempting to shower.

83-498 Keawaiki Rd, Captain Cook, HI 96704

I could pick a lot more homes that I love, but I’m going to stick to three because I could go forever. This last house is right on the water and is just a few steps away from the beach. It is listed at $3.85 million and is 2,577 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. This home is on a 0.5-acre lot and has the perfect features for the Hawaii lifestyle. There is built-in storage for surfboards and other water sports, an outdoor shower and the ocean for a backyard. The interior of this house is amazing, but the exterior surroundings are what really push the house to be exquisite. The interior has lots of wood, windows and different art pieces that make the house feel very Hawaiian.
